Sources, in order of weight

1. Official texts: laws, court rulings and government pages.
2. Academic work.
3. News reports.
4. Law-firm blogs.
5. Provider websites. These are marketing and we label them as such.

What we mark

Every legal statement cites its source. If we have not read the original ruling or law, we say so and label it as unconfirmed until a licensed attorney confirms it.

Corrections

We correct errors as soon as we confirm them and show the date of the update at the top of the page. Report errors from the contact page.

Independence

Payment from a listed provider never changes what we write or the order of the listing. See the ethics policy.
